Indiana Slips To Eighth

Wilmington, N.C. - The Indiana women's golf team slipped into eighth place after two rounds of play at the Landfall Tradition. The Hoosiers fired a second round 313, to have a two round total 618. New Mexico leads the field with a 595.
Senior Danah Ford led the way for the Hoosiers in the second round, shooting a 72 to move her into a tie for sixth at 147. Senior Karen Dennison is also tied for sixth at 147 after her second round 74.
Arkansas' Amanda McCurdy is the individual leader at 141 (72-69).
Other Hoosiers competing are sophomore Molly Redfearn at 158 (78-80), junior Bethany Brunner at 166 (79-87) and sophomore Lissa Putnam with a 169 (81-88).
Indiana will tee off the third round at 7:30 on Sunday, Nov. 2. The Hoosiers will be paired in the third round with Florida State and Virginia.
