Indiana Finishes Ninth

Wilmington, N.C. - The Indiana women's golf team finished its final tournament of the fall, the Landfall Tradition, in ninth place. The Hoosiers fired a final round 318, to have a tournament total 936. New Mexico captured the team title with an 891. Arkansas' Amanda McCurdy captured individual medallist honors with a 216 (72-69-75).
Senior Karen Dennison was the top finisher for Indiana in a tie for 15th with a 226 (73-74-79). Senior Danah Ford finished in a tie for 19th with a 227 (75-72-80).
Other Hoosiers competing were sophomore Molly Redfearn at 237 (78-80-79), junior Bethany Brunner at 249 (79-87-83) and sophomore Lissa Putnam with a 249 (81-88-80).
Indiana now takes a few months off before opening its spring schedule February 23-24 at the Central District Invitational in Parrish, Fla.
