IU Fans: Fill the Bill! (11-04-03)

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The IU athletic department is on a mission to Fill "The Bill." On Saturday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m., Jerry Yeagley, who has announced his plans to retire following the 2003 season, will coach the Hoosier men's soccer team in his final regular season match. IU fans can show their appreciation for Coach Yeagley and the tremendous program he has built at Indiana by filling Bill Armstrong Stadium to capacity for the showdown against Penn State.
The Indiana vs. Penn State match is the final Big Ten match for the Hoosiers, and with a win, IU can capture its eighth straight Big Ten regular season title!
A billboard, courtesy of Hoosier Outdoor Advertising, will be on hand at Armstrong Stadium for fans to sign thanking Coach Yeagley for his 31 Years of Excellence at the helm of Indiana Soccer. In addition, The Indiana Daily Student is giving away 1,500 copies of its insert that commemorates Coach Yeagley's 31 seasons at IU.
On Thursday, Nov. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m., the IU men's soccer team will be at College Mall to sign autographs and perform soccer skill demonstrations in front of the former Lazarus store in the center of the mall. Local radio stations, B97 (96.7 FM) and WHCC (105.1 FM) will be doing live remotes at the event.
