Recht and Stone Ranked 13th in Region

Bloomington, Ind.-- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its fall regional rankings recently, and two Indiana mens players were recognized. Junior Ryan Recht and sophomore John Stone were placed 13th in the doubles rankings for the Midwest Region.

The duo had an overall doubles record of 3-1 during the fall, and advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Midwest Championships.

Head coach Ken Hydinger was pleased to learn about Recht and Stone receiving rankings.

We believe that John and Ryan can play with anybody in the country. They have good chemistry and doubles skills. This ranking is an indication of their ability and we are counting on them for big contributions to the team this spring.

The Indiana mens team begins the spring dual match season Jan. 17 when the Hoosiers host Notre Dame at noon.
