Bloomington, Ind. - Indiana (15-8, 5-5) snapped its five-game losing streak with a 63-49 victory over Michigan on Feb. 12. The Michigan game closed out a two-game homestand for the Hoosiers, who return to the road on Feb. 15 to meet Big Ten co-leader Wisconsin (17-5, 7-3). The game will be televised by CBS (Dick Enberg and Clark Kellogg) and can also be heard on the statewide Indiana Radio Network (Don Fischer, Todd Leary and Joe Smith). The CBS telecast is one of what could be as many as 18 national television appearances for the Hoosiers. (The local or national television status of the regular season finale at Penn State will be determined on March 3).Indiana coach Mike Davis shuffled his lineup for the Wolverines, inserting freshman point guard Marshall Strickland and junior forward A.J. Moye. The Hoosiers held Michigan to 21 points below their regular season average and outrebounded their opponent for the first time in six games. The nine rebound advantage marked the 22nd time of the Davis Era that IU has managed to outboard its opponent by at least nine games.
• Indiana is the only team in the Big Ten that leads its all-time series with Wisconsin in games played in Madison (40-29)
• When IU outrebounded Michigan, 40-31, it marked the first time in six games that the Hoosiers outrebounded their opponent. The task gets even tougher on Saturday. Wisconsin is second in the league in rebound margin (+4.5).
• Indiana held Michigan to 18 first half points (second time this season and seventh time in Mike Davis Era that IU opponent has been held below 20 in a half - record in these games is 5-2). The 49 points marks the fifth time in Davis Era that an opponent has been held under 50 for the game.
• Senior forward Jeff Newton is the only Big Ten player among the league's top 10 in scoring, rebounding and blocks. He has also hit 24 of his last 29 free throws (.829).
• Bracey Wright (game-high 21 against Michigan) has back-to-back 20 point games for the second time in his career.
• Tom Coverdale is scheduled to make his 50th consecutive start on Saturday.
