Carlton Earns Big Ten Accolade

Bloomington, Ind. - Junior diver Marc Carlton won his second Big Ten Diver of the Week award for his performances against Kentucky and Purdue. The award is Carlton's second this season and four of his career.

Against Kentucky, Carlton won the three-meter with a season best 379.13, which was 50 points better than the second-place finisher. He then led the Hoosiers to an upset victory over No. 18 Purdue with wins on the one-meter and three-meter. His one-meter score of 363.00 was a career best.

The Hoosiers will return to action at the Big Ten Championships in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Championships start Thursday, Feb. 27 and run though Sunday, March 1. The morning sessions start at 12:00 p.m., while the night sessions are scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
