Hoosiers Announce 2003 Schedule

Blooomington, Ind. - The Indiana University volleyball program, which is under the direction of head coach Katie Weismiller, has announced its tentative 2003 schedule.
The demanding slate includes 12 opponents who earned berths in the 2002 NCAA Tournament. In all, 19 of Indiana's 31 matches in 2003 will be against teams who participated in NCAA Tournament play this past December.
In addition to 14 of 20 Big Ten matches against tournament teams, the Hoosiers will face five non-conference opponents who also participated in last year's Field of 64, including Manhattan, Miami (Fla.), Notre Dame, South Carolina, and Western Kentucky. Four IU opponents in 2003--Michigan State, Miami (Fla.), Ohio State, and Minnesota advanced to the Sweet 16 of the 2002 NCAA Tournament.
