Hoosiers Are Sixth After First Day

Ocala, Fla.- The Indiana men's golf team is in sixth place after the first day of the Big Red Classic at the Lake Diamond Golf and Country Club. The Hoosiers shot 582 (295-287) and are 21 shots back of first place Kent State (561).
Heath Peters is the top Hoosiers as he sits in a tie for ninth place. Peters shot a one-under, 143 (72-71) on the first day.
Competition at the Big Red Classic will continue tomorrow with a shot gun start. The final day of play will consist of 18 holes.
