Hoosiers Open Spring Season (04-02-03)

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Indiana men's soccer team will kick off its six-game spring schedule at this week at Armstrong Stadium on the IU campus. On Thursday, April 3, the Hoosiers will take on the Indy Blast and will play host to Bradley on Saturday. Both games are set for 7 p.m. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend. The Indy Blast squad will feature former Indiana stars, including 2002 All-American John Swann and two-time All-Big Ten selection Gino DiGuardi (1995-98). The Hoosiers are also scheduled for home spring contests against Louisville, the University of Missouri-St. Louis and IUPUI. (See complete scheduled below) Indiana will conclude the slate of games on April 23 with a game against Butler at North Central High School in Indianapolis. Last season's IU team finished at 15-4-2, made the NCAA Tournament for the 27th time and won the 2002 Big Ten regular season title.
