Hoosier Trio Honored by CWPA

Senior All-American Kristin Stanford and sophomore Krista Peterson, each garnered first-team All-Southern Division accolades, while sophomore goalkeeper Jessica Goldner was named to the second-team.
For Stanford, this season's laurel marks the third consecutive first-team honor for the Cincinnati, Ohio, native. Peterson and Goldner each earned their first CWPA postseason honor on Friday.
Stanford, the all-time scoring leader at Indiana, has scored 69 goals on the season leading into Saturday morning's game against George Washington. Peterson is second on the team in scoring with 45 goals, while Goldner has saved 232 shots on 510 attempts.
With a win Saturday morning, the Hoosiers will continue the CWPA Eastern Championships, most likely against Princeton at 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday. The Eastern finals will be held Sunday, with the winner earning the coveted berth to the NCAA Final Four.
