Bloomington, Ind. - Indiana offensive tackle Enoch DeMar signed a free agent contract with the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League.
An honorable mention All-Big Ten honoree by the media in 2002, DeMar turned heads by starting every game of his collegiate career (45 games). DeMar was a key cog to an offensive line that led the way for the most productive running offense in the Big Ten in 2001 and protected the passing game to allow for a school-record 3,020 passing yards in 2002.
DeMar was an honorable mention All-Big Ten selection in 2001 as well, leading an offensive line that paved the way for a 631-yard day from the Hoosier offense (449 of which came from the running game) against Wisconsin at Camp Randall Stadium.
A three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree, DeMar was a team captain in 2002 and earned the Don Howell Award as Indiana's most outstanding offensive lineman. He also was presented with the Ted Verlihay Award, given to the player who has demonstrated the best mental attitude and loyalty to Indiana Football.
