Indiana Closes Out Season

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Indiana University women's golf team suffered through a six-hour round and cold, windy, and rainy conditions in Lincoln, Neb., Saturday, on the Firethorn G.C. at the NCAA Central Regional.
Indiana finished 19th in the 21-team field, after a final round 329 to finish with a 54-hole total at 949 (314-306-329).
The Hoosiers were led by Karen Dennison, who struggled in the final round with a 9-over-par 80. The Madison, Ind., native finished the Central Regional tied for 20th at 229 (73-76-80). Junior Danah Ford finished tied for 31st at 232 (73-77-82).
Indiana junior Ambry Bishop carded an 82 in the final round to finish tied for 65th at 242 (85-75-82). In her last round of her collegiate career, senior Cara Stuckey struggled to a final round 90, finishing tied for 93rd at 252 (84-78-90). Freshman Molly Redfearn rounded out the lineup with a 255 (84-86-85).
The Hoosiers concluded the 2003 season making their 11th straight NCAA Regional appearance.
