Indiana Begins Season 4-0

Muncie, Ind. - Indiana continued its winning ways with a 4-0 victory against Southwest Missouri State on Saturday, Sept. 6. This marks the first time in the program's four-year history that Indiana has won its first four games.
Sophomore Nikki Orciuch put the Hoosiers on the board with her second goal of the season coming just a minute into the match.
Freshman Lydia Schrott scored her second goal of the weekend 15 minutes into the match. Junior Kayla Bashore recorded her first assist of the season on the goal.
Sophomore Lesley Wiler scored her second goal of the season to put the Hoosiers up 3-0. Sophomore Mallory Reabold had the assist on the goal, giving her two on the season.
Junior Kayla Bashore scored the Hoosiers final goal with 15:36 remaining in the first half off a penalty stroke. The goal gives her five for the season.
The Hoosiers return to action on the road in Williamsburg, Va. to face William & Mary on Friday, September 19, at 7:00 p.m.
