Bloomington, Ind. - Indiana's Nov. 4 exhibition basketball opener against NCAA Division II Bellarmine at Branch McCracken Court at Assembly Hall has been moved from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., IU Athletics Director Rick Greenspan announced today. The athletics department made the change in order to accommodate the IU Radio Network, meaning that Hoosier fans can listen to both preseason contests (Bellarmine and Southern Illinois-Edwardsville on Nov. 12) on the statewide network as well as the official IU Athletics website, http://iuhoosiers.com/iuradionetwork.html.
In addition to the exhibition game time changes, the Big Ten Conference also announced the following tip off time changes. Indiana's Jan. 26 game at Minnesota (ESPN Plus Local) has been moved from 9 p.m. to 8 p.m. EST, and the Hoosiers' Jan. 29 contest at Iowa (ESPN) has been moved from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. EST. Indiana's game at Wisconsin will be played on either March 1, 2 or 3, and the date and tip time will be determined at least two weeks prior to the game. Finally, the March 5 regular season finale against Northwestern (ESPN Plus Regional) will tip at 4:30 p.m. instead of 12:17.
