Bloomington, Ind. - The Oct. 30 Minnesota-Indiana football game will kick off at 1 p.m. EST/CDT at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington. The Hoosiers' 2004 Homecoming game can be heard on the statewide IU Radio Network (Don Fischer, Joe Smith and Dan Thompson). The contest will not be televised. Indiana owns a six-game home series winning streak against the Golden Gophers, who have not won in Bloomington since a 22-7 triumph on Oct. 19, 1985.
After a bye week last week, Indiana (2-4, 0-3 in Big Ten) wraps up its two-game road swing this Saturday at Ohio State(3-3, 0-3). That game will kick off at 11 a.m. EST/CDT at Ohio Stadium in Columbus and can be heard on the IU Radio Network and televised by ESPN Plus Regional. Good starts are imperative for the Hoosiers, who have held four opponents to seven first half points or fewer this season. In addition, senior Courtney Roby has caught a pass in 13 straight games and needs 59 more receiving yards to become IU's career receiving yards leader. The Indianapolis native caught eight passes for 150 yards in a 37-31 overtime loss at Northwestern on Oct. 9. With his effort against the Wildcats, Roby passed former IU great and New York Giants first round pick Thomas Lewis (1991-93) as the Hoosiers' all-time receptions leader (149).
