Hoosiers Fall to Nittany Lions

Penn State's Michele Rigby scored the game-winning goal in the 16th minute off of a rebounded shot from Amanda Eckert.
Indiana had two chances to win the game in the closing seconds as they were awarded two penalty corners but Penn State's defense denied the Hoosiers each time.
The Hoosiers were outshot by the Lions, 17-9 in the game, including an 8-3 edge in shots on goals.
Senior goalkeeper Katie Kanara had seven saves in the losing effort.
"We played good," head coach Amy Robertson said. "We controlled the second half and made some good passes. I thought Katie (Kanara) played extremely well."
The Hoosiers return to action tomorrow, when they travel to Lewisburg, Pa. to face the Bucknell Bisons at Graham Field beginning at Noon.
