***Senior quarterback Matt LoVecchio finished with a career-high 329 passing yards at Northwestern on Oct. 9. He also matched a career high with three touchdown passes.
Along with his 57 yards rushing, LoVecchio finished with 386 yards of total yardage. His total was the sixth-highest single-game total yardage in IU history. It was also the third-highest total in Indiana's Big Ten history and the highest total in a Big Ten game by someone other than Antwaan Randle El.

***Matt LoVecchio had a career-high 50 pass attempts at Northwestern. The last time an Indiana quarterback had 50 attempts was Babe Laufenberg on Oct. 23, 1982, versus Ohio State when he set a school record with 56.
The IU signal caller also competed a career-high 27 passes, the sixth-most in IU history.

***Courtney Roby has now caught a pass in 13 straight games. The last time that he was held without a reception was at Michigan on Sept. 27, 2003.
***Indiana's third quarter scoring drive at Northwestern of 92 yards was the longest of the season. The Hoosiers second quarter scoring drive of 80 yards at NU was the fifth of that distance or beyond this season. The Hoosiers had a pair of 80 yards drives at Kentucky (Sept. 18) and 80-and-81 yard drives against Michigan State (Sept. 25).
***Indiana has held four opponents to seven first half points or fewer this season.
***Junior linebacker Kyle Killion is third in the Big Ten Conference in tackles per game, averaging 10.8. He is also tied for second in the conference with 10.5 tackles for loss. Senior safety Herana-Daze Jones and junior linebacker Paul Szczesny rank fourth and sixth in the Big Ten in tackles per game with 9.7 and 9.2, respectively. Sophomore defensive end Kenny Kendal, senior defensive end Victor Adeyanju, Killion and Jones are all tied for second in the league with a pair of forced fumbles.
On the offensive side of the ball, senior wide receiver Courtney Roby is third in the Big Ten in receiving yards (98.7) and fourth in receptions per game (5.67). Lance Bennett is first in kick return average (31.0) and sixth in punt return average (10.2).
***The Hoosiers are converting 84.2 percent (16-for-19) of their chances in the red zone. IU was 4-for-5 against Central Michigan, scoring 24 points. The Hoosiers were 4-for-4 at Oregon and 2-for-2 at Kentucky. The Cream and Crimson was 3-for-4 against Michigan State. Against Michigan IU was 2-for-3 with a pair of touchdowns. IU punched in its lone time in the red zone for a touchdown at Northwestern.
***Linebacker Kyle Killion had 11 total tackles against Northwestern. The Kingwood, Texas, native had two tackles for loss and one forced fumble recovery against the Wildcats. He has registered double-digit tackles in seven of his last nine games and five of six this season. He has been the team leader in four of those last six games.
