Indiana Prepares For Ohio State

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana and Ohio State will line-up for the 80th time on Saturday, Oct. 23, at 11:00 a.m. EST/Noon EDT at Ohio Stadium in Columbus. The IU/OSU game will be available live on ESPN Plus Regional with Wayne Larrivee (play-by-play), Randy Wright (color) and Beth Mowins (sideline). Check local listings for the availability of the game in your area.
The game will also be carried live on the IU Radio Network with Don Fischer (play-by-play), Dan Thompson (color) and Joe Smith (pregame, halftime, post-game).
Indiana was idle last week and most recently played on Oct. 9 at Northwestern. The Hoosiers dropped a close, 31-24, overtime decision to the Wildcats.
Ohio State is coming off a 33-7 loss on the road to Iowa on Oct. 16. OSU is 3-3 overall is 0-3 in the Big Ten. Only a touchdown with 2:19 remaining kept the Buckeyes from being shutout for the first time since 1993. The last time OSU played Indiana with a losing Big Ten record was 1990 when they were 0-1. The Hoosiers and the Buckeyes played to a 27-27 tie on Oct. 13, 1990. The last time IU downed OSU was 1988 (41-7, Oct. 8 in Bloomington) when the Buckeyes were 0-1 in the Big Ten.
It will be a homecoming for seven IU players that hail from the Buckeye state: freshman quarterback Grant Gregory (The Plains), junior strong safety Will Lumpkin (Dayton) freshman linebacker Ryan Marando (Lakewood), senior linebacker Kevin Smith (Canton), freshman defensive lineman Greg Brown (Centerville), junior offensive lineman Adam Hines (Vandalia) and sophomore defensive tackle Joe Kremer (Urbana).
