Senior Katie Pollom led IU with 10 kills, while freshman Juli Pierce posted 12 digs. Sophomore Tasha Arsenych served as Indiana's primary setter with 22 helpers.
In the first frame, Ohio State out-hit the Hoosiers, .245-.122, to jump out to a 1-0 lead in the match. OSU continued its success in the second stanza to win, 30-20, and take a 2-0 lead in the match. The Buckeyes then closed out IU, 30-20, to capture the match, 3-0.
Senior Stacey Gordon paced Ohio State with a double-double made up of 20 kills and 10 digs, while freshman Danielle Mayer notched 11 kills of her own. Freshman Ami Stevens and classmate Brittany Dahms recorded 11 and 10 digs, respectively.
Next up, the Cream and Crimson comes back to Bloomington for a four-match homestand beginning with a Nov. 5 match-up against Michigan and a Nov. 6 title with Michigan State. Both contests will be played in the University Gym at 7 p.m.
