BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The kickoff time for the Nov. 13 Penn State-Indiana game at Memorial Stadium has been announced as Noon EST the Big Ten Conference announced today. The game will be televised live on ESPN Plus Regional. Check local listings for the availability of the game in your viewing area.
The Hoosiers will look to win their second-straight Big Ten game when they travel to Champaign, Ill., this weekend for a showdown with Illinois (2 p.m. EST/1 p.m. CDT). The game can be heard live on the statewide IU Radio Network with Don Fischer (play-by-play), Dan Thompson (color commentary) and Joe Smith (pregame, halftime and postgame).
The victory over No. 23 Minnesota, coupled with a 30-24 win at then-No. 24 Oregon on Sept. 11, marks the second win over an Associated Press ranked team this season. It is the first time since the 1987 season the Hoosiers have defeated two AP ranked teams in the same season. That year, IU defeated No. 9 Ohio State (31-10) on Oct. 10, 1987 and No. 20 Michigan (14-10) on Oct. 24, 1987.
This also marked the fourth time in the IU history that the Hoosiers defeated two ranked teams in the same season (2004, 1987, 1950, 1946). The 1945 IU Big Ten Champion team defeated three ranked opponents en route to a 9-0-1 season.
