Meeuwsen Earns Honor

Park Ridge, Ill. - Indiana freshman midfielder Frederique Meeuwsen was named the Big Ten's offensive player of the week for her game play this past weekend against Ohio State and Saint Louis the Big Ten office announced.

Meeuwsen helped the Hoosiers to their first Big Ten win over Ohio State, 3-1 on Friday, Oct. 29 as she recorded two goals and an assist, while adding an assist in a 3-1 victory over Saint Louis on Oct. 31.

Meeuwsen has been one of the hottest players in the conference over the last five games as she has recorded seven goals and two assists.

Michigan's defender Lori Hillman took defensive player of the week honors.
