Indiana's victory over No. 23 Minnesota, coupled with a 30-24 win at then-No. 24 Oregon, marks the second win over an Associated Press ranked team this season. It is the first time since the 1987 season the Hoosiers have defeated two AP ranked teams in the same season. That year, IU defeated No. 9 Ohio State (31-10) on Oct. 10, and No. 20 Michigan (14-10) on Oct. 24.
This also marked the fourth time in IU history that the Hoosiers defeated two ranked teams in the same season (2004, 1987, 1950, 1946). The Hoosiers have defeated three ranked teams once in their history; the 1945 Big Ten Champions accomplished the feat.

100 PERCENT FOR GREEN-ELLIS
BenJarvus Green-Ellis rushed for 110 yards against Minnesota. It marked the second 100-plus rushing performance this season for Green-Ellis (115 yards at Kentucky) and the sixth of his career. Green-Ellis also scored on a 27-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. The scamper was the longest run of the season for Green-Ellis.
20-POINT OUPUT
Indiana scored 20 points and had three touchdowns in the second quarter against Minnesota. The output was the most points and the most touchdowns in any quarter since the Hoosiers posted 21 points in the second quarter at No. 22 Michigan State on Nov. 10, 2001. IU defeated the Spartans, 37-28.
COMEBACK TO VICTORY
Down 14-0 early in the second quarter against Minnesota, Indiana scored 23 unanswered points en route to the victory. The last time IU came back from a two-touchdown deficit was on Oct. 12, 2002, against then-No. 22 Wisconsin. The Hoosiers were down 19 points late in the third quarter when they went on to score three touchdowns for a 32-29 win.
GRINDING OUT 200
As a team, the Hoosiers recorded 238 rushing yards against Minnesota, which was a season-best, eclipsing the mark of 203 yards set against Central Michigan in the first game of the 2004 campaign. It is also the most yards rushing in a game since Nov. 15, 2003, when IU ran for 253 yards at Penn State.

FINDING A WAY ON "D"
Against Minnesota, junior Will Lumpkin picked off his first career interception and scored his first career touchdown, recording a 42-yard return for a touchdown. The defensive score was the third of the season for the Hoosiers, and second interception return for a score (Tracy Porter vs. Central Michigan, 96 yards). IU also scored a defensive touchdown on a four-yard fumble recovery by Victor Adeyanju against Kentucky. It is the fourth time in school history, and second time under Gerry DiNardo, the Hoosiers have generated at least three defensive touchdowns in one season (1994, 1996, 2002).
RED ZONE EFFICIENCY
The Hoosiers are converting 83.3 percent (20-for-24) of their chances in the red zone. IU was 4-for-5 against Central Michigan, scoring 24 points. The Hoosiers were 4-for-4 at Oregon and 2-for-2 at Kentucky. The Cream and Crimson was 3-for-4 against Michigan State. Against Michigan, IU was 2-for-3 with a pair of touchdowns. IU punched in its lone time in the red zone for a touchdown at Northwestern and Ohio State. Against Minnesota, the Cream and Crimson was 3-for-3 with 17 points, before receiving the ball with 5:45 to play in the fourth quarter. The Hoosiers were able to run out the clock and finish the game on the Golden Gophers' 12-yard line, thus finishing the game 3-for-4 inside the red zone. IU is tied for second in red zone efficiency among Big Ten teams.
