Schrott, Kanara Earn Honors

Schrott becomes the third Hoosier to garner All-Big Ten honors, joining three-time selection Kayla Bashore and junior Morgan Albini. Schrott set the school-record this season in assists with 10, while finishing second on the team in goals with six and points with 22.
Kanara was chosen for this honor after having distinguishing herself through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. Kanara is now a candidate for the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award, as the Conference office will select one male and one female student-athlete from each institution at the end of the school year.
Sixth-seeded Indiana (12-7, 1-5) plays its first game of the Big Ten tournament against third-seeded, Michigan State (15-2 5-1) on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Leonard B. Thomas Sports Complex on the campus of Northwestern.
