Five Named All-Region (12-20-04)

O'Rourke was named first team Great Lakes All-Region for the second consecutive year. The Columbus, Ohio, native is one of three finalists for the M.A.C. Hermann Trophy and a first team NSCAA All-American. He had two goals and four assists on the season. He assisted on the game-winner in the Hoosiers' come-from-behind 3-2 double overtime victory over Maryland in the national semifinal.
Moor garnered first team honors after being a second team choice a season ago. He was a unanimous first team All-Big Ten selection this season. Moor notched three goals on the season. The Dallas, Texas, native was also a first team NSCAA All-American selection. Moor was an integral part of a Hoosier defense that ranked among the national leaders in goals against average and shutout percentage.
Nolly earned the first all-region selection of his career with a second team distinction. The Littleton, Colo., native finished the year ranked seventh in the country in goals against average at 0.63. He closed his Hoosier career ranked in the top five in all-time victories and shutouts. Nolly also ranks sixth on the Hoosiers' career saves list. He was a first team All-Big Ten selection for the third consecutive season. He has 51 career victories with 30 career shutouts. Nolly has shut out 11 opponents in each of the last two years.
Plotkin was named a second team All-Great Lakes region honoree. It was the second all-region selection of his career after being named a first team honoree a season ago. Plotkin was a first team All-Big Ten selection, while leading the Hoosiers in assists. He finished the year with five goals and nine assists on the season, and ranked second on the team in points with 19.
Indiana's leading scorer, Peterson was a third team All-Great Lakes region selection. The Portage, Mich., native notched 11 goals on the season. He ranked first on the team in points (24) and goals. Peterson was a first team All-Big Ten selection this season. He scored the Hoosiers' lone goal in the national title game against UC-Santa Barbara.
The Hoosiers had four all-region selections a year ago. Ned Grabavoy, O'Rourke and Plotkin were all first team choices, while Moor was a second team honoree. The Hoosiers led the Great Lakes Region with five total selections this season. IU's two first team selections (O'Rourke and Moor) ranked second to Notre Dame, who had three first team honorees.
