Spotlight on Brad Kramer

Kramer arrives in Bloomington from Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was a standout pitcher at Harrison High School. The 6-5, left-hander was named the team's Most Valuable Pitcher his senior season. As a junior, Kramer compiled a team-low ERA on his way to being named Most Valuable Junior. Kramer also made a splash his first season on the varsity squad, picking up Rookie of the Year honors in 2002.
The son of Greg and Janice Kramer has one sibling, Erin. Brad plans to study sports recreation at IU.
HEAD COACH BOB MORGAN ON KRAMER:
"Brad is a good, left-handed pitcher that should give us some quality innings this year. He has a good fastball and good breaking ball. Brad is a real good competitor and has great tempo on the mound."
KRAMER ON CHOOSING IU:
"When I first saw the campus, I knew that I wanted to attend IU. After meeting with Coach Morgan and the other coaches, I was sure that Indiana baseball was the best choice for me."
