BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana (2-2) continues its brutal early non-conference schedule when it hosts Notre Dame on Dec. 8 at 7 p.m., at Branch McCracken Court at Assembly Hall (17,456) in Bloomington, Ind. Just as the Hoosiers are in the midst of playing No. 8/8 North Carolina, at No. 7/6 Connecticut, Notre Dame and No. 10/11 Kentucky, the 1992-93 Hoosiers went 3-1 against No. 3 Kentucky (Jan. 3, 1993 - L, 81-78), No. 8 Iowa (Jan. 6, 1993 - W, 75-67), Penn State (Jan. 9, 1993 - W, 105-57) and at No. 2 Michigan (Jan. 12, 1993 - W, 76-75)
Facing what is arguably the nation's toughest schedule in 2004-05, this marks the first time since Jan. 3-12, 1993, that Indiana will face three teams in four games which are ranked in the top 10 during the regular season.
