BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana University Men's Soccer has once again joined forces with adidas to host the 2004 Midwest Soccer Coaches Symposium on April 16 and 17 on the Indiana University campus in Bloomington.
This year's symposium will feature recently retired IU coach and legend Jerry Yeagley. Yeagley, hot off a run to his sixth NCAA Championship in 2003, will share his coaching insights. It could be the last chance to hear the six-time National Coach of the Year. New Hoosier coach Mike Freitag and his assistants Todd Yeagley, Caleb Porter and Sean Phillips will share many training activities and thoughts of the 2003 Division I champs.
In addition to the IU coaching staff, former Hoosier assistant and veteran MLS assistant coach John Trask will serve as a clinician. Rob Kehoe, a nationally recognized performance consultant who has played an important role in the recent success of Indiana men's soccer will be in attendance. IU strength and conditioning coach Katrin Koch will share insight into Indiana's fitness training. University of Louisville men's soccer coach and nationally recognized clinician Tony Colavecchia also brings his expertise to this year's symposium.
The symposium offers youth, high school and college coaches from across the country a chance to gather information and share experiences with their colleagues.
