Hoosiers Headed to White House (03-22-04)

The 2003 national champion Indiana men's soccer team will be recognized by President George W. Bush on Tuesday, March 23, on the White House lawn in Washington D.C.
Recently retired IU coach Jerry Yeagley, who holds the distinction as Division I men's soccer's all-time winningest coach with 544 victories, along with new Hoosier coach Mike Freitag and his staff and members of the 2003 team will make the one-day trip to the nation's capital.
The travel party will tour the White House prior to the recognition ceremony, which is set for 3:15 p.m. A visit to the capitol building and an alumni reception at the National Press Club are also scheduled.
