10 Hoosiers Alpha Beta Honorary

Bloomington, Ind. -- 10 Indiana volleyball players were named Alpha Beta Honorary for academic excellence. Christina Archibald, Melissa Brewer, Lindsay Cochrane, Sara Diehl, Mandy Eberle, Anne Grabow, Beth Heimann, Nikki Hill, Katie Pollom and Monique Pritz received the honor.

The Alpha Beta Honorary recognizes those student-athletes who have earned a minimum 3.0 grade point average in the most recent academic semester. This issue of the award reflects academic achievement from the 2003 fall semester.

"I'm so pleased with the efforts of this team," said Indiana head coach Katie Weismiller. "Having 10 players honored as Alpha Beta members is quite an accomplishment. Everyone did a great job academically, and I always appreciate everyone's efforts in the classroom."

Brewer, Heimann, Hill, Pollom, Pritz and Eberle were also members of the Academic All-Big Ten team announced in December.
