Indiana Concludes Season 18th at the NCAA Central Regional

Normal, Ill. - The Indiana University women's golf team Indiana finished 18th in the 21-team field, after a final round 324 to finish with a 54-hole total at 955 (311-320-324) at the NCAA Central Regional. Vanderbilt won the Central Regional with an 893, while Arizona, Michigan State, Southern California, Baylor, Purdue, New Mexico and Texas A&M finished second through eighth, respectively, to advance to the NCAA Championships.
The Hoosiers were led by senior Karen Dennison, who struggled in the final round with a 6-over-par 77. The Madison, Ind., native finished the Central Regional tied for 27th at 231 (73-81-77).
Sophomore Molly Redfearn finished tied for 83rd at 243 (81-80-82). Senior Mary Lidester carded an 87 in the final round to finish tied for 86th at 244 (82-75-87). Senior Ambry Bishop struggled to a final round 89, finishing 105th at 254 (81-84-89). Senior Danah Ford returned to the links for the final round carding a 78.
The Hoosiers concluded the 2004 season making their 12th straight NCAA Regional appearance.
