Throughout the history of Indiana baseball ex-Hoosiers have gone on to play professionally. The tradition has continued as there are currently nine Hoosiers playing professional ball, including Doug DeVore, who spent time in the majors with the Arizona Diamondbacks this season.
Three Hoosiers from last year's team, Seth Bynum, Kevin Mahar and Cody Wargo, are currently playing in the minor leagues.
