IU Tickets at OU, OSU Sold Out

Bloomington, Ind. - The Indiana University athletic ticket office has sold out of its allotment of tickets for road contests at Oregon (September 11) and Ohio State (October 23). For information on remaining tickets for IU home and road games please call 1-866-IUSPORTS or log onto iuhoosiers.com.
IU opened its preseason camp on Tuesday, Aug. 10, and had its first practice on Wednesday, Aug. 11. The Hoosiers will have one-a-day practices through Sunday, Aug. 15, and then alternate between one-a-day and two-a-day practices starting Monday, Aug. 16.
The Hoosiers, who return 18 starters (nine on each side of the ball), will open their 2004 season at home against Central Michigan on Sept. 4 at 6 pm. Indiana has won 16 of its last 18 home openers, including last year's 33-3 victory over Indiana State. This is the second time in three seasons that the Hoosiers face the Chippewas.
Eight Indiana football players have earned preseason recognition by several sport publications, including Street & Smith's, The Sporting News and Lindy's. Along with those accolades, senior Matt LoVecchio was named to the preseason watch list for the 2004 Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award, given annually to the nation's top signal caller.
