Grodek Named To Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week

NEW YORK - Indiana University senior Kim Grodek has been named to the Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the week, announced the organization on Wednesday evening.
Grodek led IU to a 2-0 start and a Milwaukee Cup championship last weekend. The midfielder collected 11 points on five goals and an assist, in the Hoosiers season opening tournament.
Grodek tallied her first career hat trick in the tournament opener at Marquette, a 4-0 IU victory. The Barrington, Ill., native then posted two more goals in the championship match, a 2-1 win by the Hoosiers over Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
She moved into fourth place on the Indiana all-time goals scored list, with 22, as well as points, with 47.
