TV Schedule Update

Bloomington, Ind. - Indiana will host No. 18/18 Michigan on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 2:30 p.m. (EST/CDT) at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington. The game will be televised live on ABC-TV. In addition, this Saturday's Indiana-Michigan State game (11:10 a.m. EST/CDT) will be televised by ESPN Plus Local. The IU-MSU game will be available live on ESPN GamePlan, and WTTV-Channel 4 will carry the game tape delay at 8 p.m.
Indiana University's television schedule is dictated by the Big Ten Conference, as ABC, ESPN and ESPN-Plus own the league's television rights. At the start of the season, ESPN Plus designated the Sept. 25 Purdue-Illinois game as the regionally syndicated game of the week. WTTV-Channel 4's contract with ESPN Plus calls for WTTV to carry the regional game of the week, which is why the Purdue-Illinois game will air live on Saturday, and Indiana's game will be tape-delayed.
The Indiana-Michigan State game has been designated as Band Day and Hoosier Military Heroes Day. Numerous local high school bands will perform at halftime of the game, and active and retired military can enter the game for free with their military ID as well as buy up to four tickets at $10 each.
