The Hoosiers, playing their first game on ABC since 2000, will look to get back on the winning side of the ledger after falling in their Big Ten opener last weekend. IU is paced by senior wide receiver Courtney Roby, who is 13 receptions and 279 receiving yards away from becoming the school's career leader in both categories.
Michigan enters the contest with a 3-1 overall mark and a 1-0 Big Ten record after defeating Iowa 31-17 last weekend.
Senior defensive linemen Jodie Clemons and Martin Lapostolle, senior safety Herana-Daze Jones and Roby discuss this weekend's game.
On preparation for this weekend:
ML: "We take every game the same way each week. We have been practicing very hard this week getting ready for Michigan."
HJ: "We prepare for each game like we have every other week. We know they have a strong team, and we need to come out and play our best."
CR: "We want to play hard and stay focused. We have been working on finishing out a game. We want to step it up this weekend and play two halves of football."
On the defensive side of the ball:
ML: "They run some basic stuff, but they execute very well. We know they will run the ball, and they have some big guys up front. We need to execute our defensive plan the best we can."
JC: "We know that they are a pretty traditional team with the run. They are traditionally a power team. We will adjust if they come out with something different. We just need to play our game and execute."
Building off the Michigan State game:
JC: "We will use that game to fuel us. We have been working this week on playing two complete halves of football. We talked about what we need to do at the second half of practice, like it was the second half of a game. We just need to play the same way in both halves of the game."
