Throughout the year you will be able to find out what is happening with the women's soccer team through the words of the coaches and players of the team. This week's Blogger features senior Courtney O'Bryan of the women's soccer team.

After a tough loss against Michigan State, we were ready to get back to practice this past week to prepare for our game against the Buckeyes of Ohio State. We had a great week of training that really built up our confidence going into the weekend. A personal highlight of the week was that I finally got the cast off of my hand that I broke during pre-season.
Wednesday after practice, the team got together and had a little team building session. I won't divulge exactly what happened, but I will say that everyone left feeling pretty good about where the team is headed and ready to take it to Ohio State.
The bus ride to Columbus was made all the more exciting thanks to Lauren Lamping's purchase of the newly released Cinderella DVD. I think the coaches especially enjoyed it! (Wink, wink)
We woke up to a rainy day on Friday, but it did not dampen our excitement for the game that night. We were treated to a great brunch by some of Lauren Fabbro's relatives that live in Columbus and then hung around the hotel all day waiting for game time.
We came out with aggression and took it to Ohio State for the majority of the game, but unfortunately caught a few bad breaks and lost the game 3-2. This makes our games this weekend "Do or Die" for getting into the Big Ten tournament. All I have to say is lookout Northwestern and Wisconsin because Indiana women's soccer is on a mission!
GO HOOSIERS!
