My name is Molly Kruger and I am a freshman on the Indiana women's soccer team. Throughout the season I hope to give everyone a chance to see what it takes to be Hoosier soccer player, along with a glimpse into my daily life on the team. There are many reasons of why I came to Indiana, but the main one is the quality of talent and personalities of the women on the team. I hope to feature all of those qualities throughout the year as I take you through the 2005-06 season.

The weekend was a sad one on the soccer front. We lost to Ohio State. It was a tough loss, but looking back on the tape it seemed we dominated the game. However, we caught a couple of bad breaks and had some communication problems that led to the Ohio State goals. In the end, everything does happen for a reason and the team and I are keeping our spirits high. I just look at each game as a building block and another chance to look at my mistakes and make them better!
It does hurt to lose such close games. There are two days left until we are on the road again. However, the road we travel this weekend and from here on out is a very important one. We have five Big Ten games left and we plan to win all 5.
Therefore, I have been carefully reviewing the tapes from previous games and making note of my every turnover I so graciously gave to the opponent. I am determined to make these last games count and it all starts with preparation.
I cannot even think about not letting our seniors make it to the Big Ten Tournament, because they have worked so hard to get here. I am sorry that this is short, but we have some games to win. There are a lot of good games coming at home and on the road and I hope you can be a part of those wins with us. Our goal is the Big Ten tournament, so we hope to you see you there.
Until next time, GO HOOSIERS!
