IU Football to Air on ESPN The Season

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Over the next two weeks, college football fans across the country will have an insider's look at the Indiana Hoosier program on ESPN's The Season-College Football. Produced by Chicago-based Intersport, The Season-College Football will provide viewers a behind-the-scenes experience of all aspects of the Hoosier program - from Sunday through the week as the hype and intensity build to game time.
The Season-College Football will follow Indiana as it prepares for this week's visit from No. 14/13 Ohio State and next week's trip to No. 22/22 Michigan State. The show's episode on the Ohio State game will air on Friday, Oct. 28 at 12 a.m. CST and will repeat on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 1:30 a.m. CST, while the Michigan State episode will run on Nov. 4 at 12 a.m. CST and will repeat on Nov. 12 at 1:30 a.m. CST.
IU boasts one of the nation's most potent offenses, as redshirt sophomore quarterback Blake Powers is second in the nation with 20 touchdown passes, and 6-7 redshirt freshman wide receiver James Hardy has five 100-plus yard receiving performances in his first six games.
Just as his team ranks among the league and national leaders in several statistical categories, Indiana head coach Terry Hoeppner looks forward to showcasing all aspects of the Hoosier program on The Season-College Football.
"This is a tremendous opportunity not only for our football program, but for the athletics department and the whole campus," Hoeppner said. "It's going to be an electric atmosphere in Bloomington this week with Ohio State coming to town. We're going to have "The Rock" rocking on Saturday. Not only that, but the ESPN crews will be all over our campus in the next two weeks, showing fans all over the country that Indiana University is not a good school, but a GREAT school."
Intersport has produced college sports programming for 18 years and owns the College Slam Dunk and Three-Point Championships (ESPN), The College Football All-Star Challenge and the March Madness (Fox Sports Net). Intersport has been producing The Season-College Football and has featured such programs as Notre Dame, Miami, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Florida State.
