BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - IUHOOSIERS.com recently asked the 2005 Indiana Volleyball squad a series of questions. The next in the series is freshman defensive specialist Jessica Langert.
Why did you choose to come to IU?
I loved the school atmosphere, program, coaches and girls. It's a fantastic place to be.
What is the word most others would use to describe you?
Enthusiastic!
What is something unique about you that not many people would know?
I used to be a hard-core swimmer. I wanted to swim in college and in the Olympics.
If your home was burning down and your family, friends and pets were safe, what one personal belonging would you save and why?
I would save my photo albums because my pictures carry so many memories that I would really be sad if I lost them all.
Are you superstitious about anything in your sport? If so, what are some of your rituals?
I hate washing my kneepads if the team is playing well because I'm afraid of washing off the good luck. I also have to bounce the ball three times before I serve and then take a deep breath or it won't be any good.
