IU WBB Looking for 2005-06 Ball Girls

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.-- Indiana women's basketball fans in grades 4-8 now have an opportunity to be a part of the Hoosier women's basketball team for the 2005-06 season as an official ball girl. Those interested can apply by logging on to IUHOOSIERS.com. Once at the site, click on `Fan Promotions' then on `Women's Basketball'. Print out an application and guidelines packet, fill it out and send it in. Sixteen girls will be chosen for this honor and for each game, eight of them will be utilized as ball girls. The eight girls not working the game will be able to attend the game as fans of IU. . Ball girls are expected to work a majority of the IU women's basketball home games for the 2005-2006 season.

The selected ball girls will be notified by Friday, Oct. 28th via phone. When selecting ball girls, priority will be given to those with season tickets. Those chosen are expected to attend a mandatory information meeting at 5:45p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3rd (first exhibition game). Ball girls will meet in the South Entrance of Assembly Hall.
