PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - Senior Sarah Batty and junior Laura McGaffigan dropped a hard-fought match to the No. 3 seed of the Riviera/ITA All-American Doubles Championship yesterday in Pacific Palisades, Calif. Despite being ahead of University of New Mexico's Maja Kovacek and Iva Gersic for most of the match, the Hoosier pair did not advance after the 9-7 loss.

"Sarah and Laura played extremely well," Indiana associate head coach Ramiro Azcui said. "It was great to see them compete so hard against such a great team."

The Hoosiers take the court next at the ITA Midwest Regionals Oct. 20-25 in East Lansing, Mich.
