Hoosiers To Visit Local Businesses on Saturday

Memers of the Indiana women's basketball team will visit local businesses to promote the upcoming season.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.-- The Indiana women's basketball team will be out in the community on Saturday, Nov. 12 to hand out posters and schedule cards. From 9-10:30 a.m. the Hoosiers will be stopping by local businesses to make fans aware of the excitement surrounding the 2005-06 season under first-year head coach Sharon Versyp.

The Hoosiers officially kick off their season on Saturday, Nov. 19 when they take on the 2005 NCAA Champion Baylor Lady Bears at Assembly Hall. Game time is set for 6 p.m. and will follow the IU vs. Purdue football game, which is slated for 1 p.m.

Season tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling the IU Ticket Office at 812-855-4006. Prices are $48 for adults and $24 for youth. Season tickets are also flexible. Fans can use one ticket per game or, bring a friend and use more than one ticket per game.
