Junior guard Errek Suhr
On his three pointers:
"I was wide-open. Lewis (Monroe), (Marshall) Strickland and Earl (Calloway) did a great job of finding me because as a team we run the wings real hard. I was wide open so when I catch it, it's either stand there and look stupid, or shoot it. I was just fortunate they went in, and I thank my teammates for it."
On the differences defensively between the first and second half
"Just concentration and playing team defense. We came out trying to put pressure on and play hard. I think we were playing hard, but were not really meshing on defense. The second half we came out and concentrated and really focused."
Senior forward Marco Killingsworth
On the victory:<><> "Any win is a good win I do not care if it's one point 30 points, 40 points. That put us one in the win column, we are trying to play on Monday night so it's a good stepping stone for us."
On his fake behind the back pass and lay-up:
"That came from the schoolyard. I just pick up stuff playing in different situations."
On working together on the court:
"Just do not be selfish. We are here for one reason and that is to win. Some games I am not going to shine, some games Marshall is not going to shine or Lewis is not going shine. We just have to pass the ball because all of us are trying to win."
On his three pointers:
"I have been working on that. Working on my 3 -ball."
On the victory:
"That win helped us, helped us a lot. Going towards that goal we are trying to get and we got the win."
On this being his last season:
"I am making the best of it. This is my last go around, and I am trying to win. I am going to be playing hard every single game."
On what they learned during the game:
"We learned a lot and we shared the ball a lot. In the second half we picked it up on defense a whole lot, we learned that the most."
