Former IU Standout Pays a Visit to Bloomington

Indiana's all-time assists (533) and steals (210) leader, Tisha Hill will make a trip back to her alma mater to play at Assembly Hall, but this time she will not be putting on a Hoosier uniform. As coach of Youngstown State, Hill and the Penguins will take part in the Hampton Inn Classic on Friday, Nov. 25 and Nov. 26.
The University Heights, Ohio, product played for the Hoosiers from 1989-1992. Hill averaged 8.2 points per game over her career and 4.6 rebounds. She was a major asset to the Hoosiers, as she played in 114 games, starting in 112.
IUHOOSIERS.com sat down with Hill to ask about her life after graduating from Indiana.
Tell us what you have done since you graduated from Indiana:
Began my coaching career.
What is your current job right now and how do you like it?
I am the head coach of Youngstown State. I enjoy every day. Some are tougher than others but this profession is exciting.
What are some of your best memories of playing basketball for the Hoosiers?
Building long lasting friendships and enjoying campus life.
Would you say playing basketball and receiving an education from Indiana has really helped you get to where you are today?
Absolutely. I had a wonderful time with fantastic support from friends and family.
