IU Cheerleader to Compete in Athlon Competition

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Andrea Liegibel, an Indianapolis, native and member of the Indiana cheerleading squad, has been chosen to represent Indiana and the Big Ten conference in the Athlon Sports Spirit Contest. The contest is being held online and the winner is determined through online voting.
Liegibel marks the second IU cheerleader to compete in the Athlon online voting. Megan Martz, a Fishers, Ind., native finished second in her round and just missed advancing to the final round.
The contest will run for the next three weeks, with the top vote getters moving into the final round of competition. To vote for Liegibel, please visit Athlon Voting and click on Liegibel's picture to cast your vote. Participants are encouraged to vote everyday for the next three weeks.
