Indiana Cheer Squads Add Leefers to Staff

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indianapolis native Tiffany Leefers has been added to the Indiana University Cheerleading Program coaching staff for the 2005-2006 athletic year to work with the IU Pom Squad.

Leefers graduated from Indianapolis Lawrence North High School and cheered at Ball State University. She completed her undergraduate degree work at Indiana University in Indianapolis. She is a former Indiana Pacers dancer for two years and has worked as head program coach and coordinator for Tumble Town at Geist All-Stars in Indianapolis, head cheer coach for Indianapolis Lawrence Central High School and program director at Lifetime Fitness Center in Indianapolis.

Currently, Leefers is employed by Varsity Brands, Inc., of Memphis, Tenn. Her experience with collegiate and professional sporting event presentations will be beneficial to Indiana University's efforts to enhance the Hoosier game day opportunities.
