Dip to 29th in ITA Poll

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's tennis team dipped two places, to 29th in nation, according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division I Rankings released on Feb. 15.
Stanford retained the top spot by garnering eight first-place votes for a total of 600 points. Florida is second (591), followed by Georgia (584) and Northwestern (578), while Duke (566) rounds out the top-five.
The Hoosiers are ranked second among all Big Ten teams with 367 points, while Michigan is third, 31st place, with 335 points.
Indiana will hit the road for a pair of matches this weekend at No. 19 Tennessee and No. 7 Kentucky. The Hoosiers will face the Lady Vols on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m., in the Goodfriend Tennis Center. IU and the Wildcats will match up on Sunday, Feb. 20, at 11:30 a.m., in the Hilary J. Boone Varsity Tennis Complex.
