IU Travels to LSU

BACK IN ACTION
The Indiana softball team will look to bounce back from a rough weekend at the Alexis Resort Classic (1-4) in Las Vegas, Nev., with a trip to Baton Rouge La., to participate in the Tiger Classic.
ON DECK
Indiana will head to Tulsa, Okla., for its third-straight tournament, the Holiday Inn-Select Tulsa Festival, from Friday, Feb. 25, through Sunday, Feb. 27. The Hoosiers will face Drake and Colorado State on the 25th, Western Illinois and host Tulsa on the 26th and Akron on the 27th.
THE TIGER CLASSIC FIELD
IU will open the tournament with Southern on Friday, Feb. 19, at 3:15 p.m. Indiana will then face Grambling and LSU on Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. Depending on the tournament results, consolation and championship play will take place on Sunday. All the games in the Tiger Classic will be available on live stats through the LSU website or by clicking the link on iuhoosiers.com.
HITTING THE ROAD
The Hoosiers will hit the road for their first 25 games of the season. With tournaments in Las Vegas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Western Kentucky and California, IU will play in five states, three time zones and cover 5,762 miles.
HUDDLESTON ENJOYS FIRST WEEKEND
Freshman Jennilee Huddleston enjoyed her first collegiate action as she was the lone Hoosier to hit over .300 at the Alexis Resort Classic. Huddleston batted .357 with two RBI and three runs scored, while starting all five games at shortstop.
