BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana football program concludes 2005 spring drills on April 15 with the annual Cream-Crimson game, and there are a variety of pregame activities leading up to the 7 p.m. kickoff at Memorial Stadium.
Festivities get underway on the west side of the stadium at 5:30 p.m., with live music from 'Pam and Dave'. 'Pam and Dave' is a local duo that mixes covers of timeless popular classics with original music.
Our youngest Hoosier fans can visit the IU Kids' Zone from 5:30 p.m. -7 p.m. The Kids' Zone is back for its second straight spring game and features an obstacle course, rock climber, a caricature artist and other activities.
Bring your appetite to the game, as Smokin' Jack's Rib Shack will provide free pulled pork dinners to the first 1,000 fans in attendance from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. The IU Concession Stands also will be open for business at 6:30 p.m.
From April 5-9, IU fans had the opportunity to play Hoosier Football Trivia on Indianapolis-based ESPN 950 AM, and the first person to call in each day with the correct answer to the trivia questions earned the chance to kick a 30-yard field goal at halftime of Friday's game. If they hit the field goal, they win a pair of season tickets for 2005.
Indiana head coach Terry Hoeppner and his staff will be joined on the sideline by celebrity coaches Indiana University President Adam W. Herbert and IU Alumni Association President Ken Beckley.
