Neville Sweeps 200 & 400m

EUGENE, Ore.--Sophomore David Neville swept the 200m (21.37) and 400m (46.20) at the Pepsi Invitational as the Indiana track and field team finished tied for third at the Pepsi Invitational on Saturday afternoon with 140.50 points. Missouri matched the Hoosiers' total points as Oregon took the crown with 180.50 points, and Washington finished runner-up with169.50 points.
Ryan Ketchum and Aarik Wilson were the only other Hoosiers to post first place finishes as Ketchum won the shot put with a mark of 18.09m (59-04.25, and Wilson captured the triple jump with a leap of 16.17m (53-00.75). The duo had a busy day in the field events with Wilson also taking home second in the long jump (7.78m (25-06.25)) and Ketchum finishing third in the discus (51.91m (170-04)) and fifth in the hammer throw 51.46m (168-10).
Indiana also received top three finishes from Jake Wiseman in the javelin (2nd-place 61.95m(203-03), Stephanos Ioannou in the 110m hurdles (3rd-place-14.37) and Rodney Hollis in the 800m (3rd-place1:50.37).
Indiana is back in action next weekend, April 15-16, when it travels to the Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut, Calif.
